The possibility of vampires?

alright i know very well that vampires are not real but my question is, based on all the types of myths out there are there any that would agree with medical science to day as in could people really live on blood, somehow spontaneously combust when entering UV light. i know about that disease that makes some one appear to look like a vampire but could there be a disease other then that, that could cause such a rapid transformation vampire related or not.
