Not paid after 7 weeks of employment at McDonald's?

My son took a job with McDonald's in NB this summer. He has not been paid in 7 weeks. Those employed at the same time and after my son started working there, have all been paid. If I were the Manager/Owner of this Franchise, I would have paid this student out of my pocket and he could have reimbursed me when he got paid. When he queried as to the status of his pay, they told him he had been paid twice, It was his responsibility to go to his Bank and find out what they did with his money. This is not his job, it is his employers' job. It turns out his pay was deposited at another financial institution. Not a different branch, another institution completely. They say that this is a great place to work? Teaching you responsibility and accountability. My son has held up his end of the bargain, McDonald's has fallen way too short. McDonald's is responsible to pay interest on his salary. If this had been adult, the employee would have gotten a lawyer, gone to the Labour Board or outright quit. What are you going to do about it. You have ruined his summer.
