If Christianity is about love and forgiveness then why there're many hateful Christians on yahoo?

I couldn't help but comment on what I have witnessed on yahoo answers and yahoo buzz! I've seen many answers from Christians that are very hateful and demeaning towards other religions and cultures, why is that?! When you read their answers you see them writing very hateful and shocking commnets like "to the hell with muslims, with atheists, with gays, " " kill them and sort them out", "nuke them" etc, " "so and so people worship satan", " so and so people are evil that must be eradicated"etc, etc, but when you look at their profiles you read them saying " I love the lord Jesus", "Jesus loves you", "God bless you?!!! What's up with that?!!!
