I can't change my logon screen (xp pro)?

Hi, I have windows xp pro and I have been really frustrated with my logon screen. All I have right now is a login prompt, and I tried to use things like logon studio, tuneup utilities, and user accounts (in control panel) to change it, but it NEVER works! Please help me!
